All Purpose Week

In December, our oldest grandson, Joshua, graduated from University of  Alabama Huntsville with a BS in Biology. He invited the family to a party with an post party trip to The Smoky Mountains.
Mike and Jenny served a sumptuous barbeque feast.
I was happy to see my younger grandchildren play my mother's piano that she bought in 1950 by taking in ironing. Mike has recently restored and tuned it and it looks great.
James let all the young cousins operate his drone.
The next morning, we all drove to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This is a sunrise view from our balcony.

The balcony was too tempting for some of us, but big brother rescued the flying objects.
A hike to Cataract Falls

We played the Christmas Gift Game

 and went to Dollywood.
We were all excited that Savanna came from California. Jenny and Mike brought her home with them from Thialand in 1990 when she was 11 years old and she is still a beloved member of our family.

We made good use of the pool and the playground at the condo.
With 19 people in 3 condos, I did not get all the pictures I wanted. The "big kids" went on some day hikes and sometimes we only saw them in the evening.  There was no shortage of cameras, however.

I still have a little hope that someone will send me some more pictures.

If not, I may have to take a page from Ben's book.

My view from the back seat: 1366 miles one way.
