Adventure at Red Lobster

Freda, Rod and John Olin are visiting and we all went to Red Lobster last night. The very nice hostess took a lobster out of the tank and let Z and C touch him. They were fascinated.

Happy Birthday, Charlsie

Tomorrow is my very dear friend's birthday and I just wanted to say, "I love you and you mean the world to me"! Charlsie and I have been friends since we were little girls and she has always been a stabilizing, loving, accepting and wise influence in my life. How precious and rare it is to have someone who loves you unconditionally, doesn't try to change you, but just loves you through all life brings. She encourages me to think deeper without making me feel dumb and challenges my WASP ethos without assaulting my faith. I think I would be a different person without her and I am grateful. Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you. Proverbs 18:24

Rocky Mountain National Park

We have been home from our trip since Saturday and since I have not been able to settle down to work on my photos from our trip, I decided to start with just one of us at Bear Lake. We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed our grandson who went with us. We left footprints on many trails and he left them on many big boulders and river rocks. He only landed in one river and found out melted snow is very cold. The park is even more beautiful than we remembered and we rejoiced in God's beauty and graciousness at every turn in the trail. He provided snow, sleet, rain and lots of sunshine and energy. I hope I have most of my "affairs in order" now and can work on more photos soon.
